Unlike most other Otome guys I’ve read, Kiyo’s stories focus a lot on helping the MC feel good about herself instead of just being in pursuit of love. Kiyohito (Kings of Paradise) Every story of his is like a concentrated shot of confidence to my heart. He’s really determined and has some strong goals, but he actually goes out of his way to support the MC. His MS starts with him acting like a total douche-canoe and I nearly stopped. Kyohei (Scandal in the Spotlight) Big personality. His MS is super cute and It’s one of the few I bother to reread. He bickers with MC and his spirit animal is a porcupine - but he’s never outright cruel. Rin (Our First Last Kiss) Rin is a soft tsundere (if that makes sense).
Scorpio (Star Crossed Myth) I’m not sure if he’s a tsundere or just a jerk who needs help opening up (I haven’t read his MS yet) but he’s the most popular character in JP last I checked. I’ve heard he does get better in the future routes though. It doesn’t help that the MC is really meek. Be warned though - his personality can be really hard to swallow at first. His story was a fun read.Įisuke (KBTBB) from their popularity polls in JP Eisuke is one of their most popular characters. He’s a cool gangster type - but he’s also quiet and kind. Soryu (Kissed By the Baddest Bidder) probably the sweetest of the bidders IMO. This story is slightly more mature - but the MS is pretty tame.
I’ve seen some comments about him being the most realistic voltage BF and I have to agree. Toma (Irresistible Mistakes) He’s smart, he’s sassy, but he’s also a really supportive character. The MC also has some bite to her which helps them play of nicely with each other. Tsumugu (Our Two Bedroom Story) He’s funny, sassy, and has a thing for strawberries. Some general crowd pleasers/popular characters: Can you be more specific about your preferences? Are you interested in more mature type stories or would you rather stick with more PG-13 action? Do you care if the MC is older or would you prefer high school romance?
