Now A'bus'a has forced and beaten Fuster into going through with this at all in making mad plans to make Freetrading considerable to be truely legalised again, never mind that Fuster was made to STEAL the Solar Relay and that it was acknowledged that he was a former freetrader, so nothing really changes, nor does it change for the better even if these crazy ideas worked. Fuster's abusive former boss, A'bus'a, a netouriously dehonest Freetrader Qlarg who's been espeically upset of Freetrading's downfall as a freely legal practice ever since the events of The Follies of the Freetraders, even with it's ruiner long corrected and punish. However, it would be reveiled that Fuster is not doing this out of his own malitions entirely. Now it's up to the Lodgers and HA to stop him, hopefully with help from his moral Luckiry ex-girlfriend partner Solly. Thus, he steals the Solar Relay and takes it to a planetless star called Avae for testing to create things such as Micro-Dyscon Spheres and Shields, one of which to protect his work, artificial novas, other solar-based technology, and most impressively, another Solar Relay that can allow races to convert their biology to live on the surface of a sun. Thus the Freetans and humans decide to bring them back until a rogue Freetan and former Freetrader named Fuster Fusebrand, AKA Voyager Fuselage, came in and claimed the Solar Relay, knowing about this since before the humans' departure as he has been seeking the power of the Solar Relay to develop a specialized new brand of space travel for his race in respect of the Sollans, and this act would jeopardize that chance. The messages they impart are therefore timeless and universal, and this helps to explain why, more than two millennia after they were first written down, they remain such an important influence on Western culture.Since the humans returned, they discovered more about the history of their system, including hidden secrets of Marbon's neighboring planets Ahollo and Mï, as the two have had precursor activity, Ahollo being a colony for the extinct Teadr 1 Sollans, which were amphibious and autotrophic beings that had the ability of photosynthesis, and Mï was the home planet of Martian-like beings called the Mïtians, and by researching their colonies, they discover that the Mïtians may still be alive and in a techno- John Carter society only accessible by teleportation, but Ahollo may hold a secret of the restoration of the Sollans, and with help from the voyaging race known as the Freetans, which used to be allies to the two races, they discover that there exists a Halo Array-like device of Sollan origin called the Solar Relay, capable of binding beings like the Sollans to suns and no normal being, discovering that the last 900 individuals hid themselves within their colonial suns until the devices signaled them awake in a time of peace. And as William Empson pointed out about the myth of Oedipus, whatever Oedipus’ problem was, it wasn’t an ‘Oedipus complex’ in the Freudian sense of that phrase, because the mythical Oedipus was unaware that he had married his own mother (rather than being attracted to her in full knowledge of who she was).Īnd this points up an important fact about the Greek myths, which is that, like Aesop’s fables which date from a similar time and also have their roots in classical Greek culture, many of these stories evolved as moral fables or tales designed to warn Greek citizens of the dangers of hubris, greed, lust, or some other sin or characteristic.
